It’s our first day out on the job and here we are working on a church building in Alcantra, the largest city on Romblon Island. The Bayanihan Team is our partnership with the churches on Romblon. Bayanihan means, “A sense of community.” Enjoy

From the Big City to the Islands


The next day we left our boons in Manila and took a small plane to Caticlan. Caticlan is a city close to Boracay, the Hawaii of Asia Pacific. Caticlan is significant because it has an airport. From here we would then take this boat to the island of Romblon.

Chillin’ in Manila


This is a video of our first day in the Philippines last summer. My family traveled with our church’s mission group (for a second time!) to Romblon island in the Philippines to work on church buildings and improve libraries in the schools there. More videos and blogging on the way!
